Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Loureiro Engineering Associates has an immediate need for Senior Project Manager – Mechanical to join our Facility Engineering Division in Plainville, Connecticut, or our Portsmouth, New Hampshire location. The Senior Project Manager will lead a team of MEP engineers and designers with a passion to enhance the built environment and the lives of those within it. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver, seller-doer, subject matter expert in mechanical engineering, plumbing, and fire protection.
Responsibilities
- Lead project teams in the preparation of engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for the mechanical engineering, fire protection, and plumbing disciplines.
- Manage overall financial and technical performance of projects through our project lifecycle management system
- Maintain and grow established client relationships by becoming an indispensable partner to our clients, both internal and external
- Serve as the subject matter expert for mechanical engineering, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Develop cost estimates and manage engineering design and design/build projects from conceptual design through construction.
Qualifications
- 12 years of experience with an engineering consulting or design firm.
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Eligible to work without Visa sponsorship
