Professor - Mechanical Engineering jobs in Seattle, WA

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Calibration Technician with 1-3 years of experience and either Military metrology technician training or associate degree in a related field to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical calibration and familiarity with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical calibration on a variety of equipment, including but not limited to, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, ring gages, temperature/humidity and micrometers.
• Use various calibration instruments to ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment that does not meet calibration standards.
• Maintain calibration records and documentation.
• Ensure that all equipment is properly labeled and identified.
• Participate in audits to maintain compliance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
• Assist with other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• · Must be a U.S. Citizen or have Permanent Residency Status.
• · Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training preferred.
• · Excellent customer interface skills.
• · Ability to interface with fellow employees, management and corporate personnel on a daily basis.
• · Excellent attention to detail.
• · Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• · High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
