Being a Professor - Medical Ethics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Medical Ethics typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     The Department of Neurology is seeking a qualified individual to join our growing Telehealth Neurology Program. The individual will be appointed as a Clinical Assistant Professor, and will be employed under the designation as Temporary/At-will faculty in the Department of Neurology. Individuals will participate in the call schedule to provide Tele-General Neurology consults through MUSC’s Center for Telehealth Virtual Platform. The MUSC Neuroscience Telehealth Program is rapidly expanding, and currently provides services and contracts for 35 or more clinical sites throughout South Carolina. Full time positions will be expected to work 20 shifts per month, primarily assigned as Monday-Friday during daytime business hours. This position will be assigned a 100% FTE, but we are willing to consider 75% FTE positions, will be required to complete 16 shifts per month. Compensation is provided as a base salary, with additional compensation eligible through shifts beyond the monthly requirement.
