Department Summary | The Office of Institutional Integrity and Awareness (formerly known as the Office of Institutional Compliance and Integrity) creates an integrity-based approach that combines compliance with an emphasis on responsibility for ethical behavior. This includes making values driven choices that are rooted in the HSC Values and Code of Culture. The office has oversight and management HSC's Compliance Program which includes policies, clinical compliance, compliance education and training, privacy, investigations, Integrity Framework, conflict of interest and Code of Culture. |
Position Overview | The Director of Ethics Engagementswith the Office 0f Institutional Integrity and Awareness assists with developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining compliance program initiatives. This position will focus on accelerating the compliance program and culture through the execution of the compliance strategic plan, knowledge management, and organizational effectiveness of the Integrity Framework. The Director of Ethics Engagement is responsible for formalizing the department's strategic processes, leading the evolution of the strategy, translating it for students and employees, driving organizational change, forging new working relationships and synergies across the institution, and establishing greater transparency and accountability. In addition, the Director is responsible for assessing whether compliance strategic initiatives are aligned with the HSC Strategic Plan, objectives, and key results. |
