Job Summary:

• Direct patient care - rooming patients and taking vital signs
• EKGs, urinalysis, rapid covid/strep/flu testing & other lab procedures
• Assisting physicians with minor surgeries and gyne exams
• Triage & phone triage
• Dispense medications
• Patient Education
• Immunizations & injections
• Maintain and stock work stations and exam rooms
• Schedule appointments
• Obtain prior authorizations
• Patient discharge

Experience:

• Degree or experience as a Medical Assistant
• Proficient in Medical Terminology
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• computer skills and experience with an EHR a plus
• Excellent communication skills to effectively and professionally interact with patients, and healthcare providers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain a positive & professional attitude at all times

Position is Full Time . Hours are Monday - Friday with some evening hours required. No weekends!!

Salary commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
