Job Summary

Under the direction of the Practice Administrator, the Practice Liaison will develop and implement tactics within the strategic marketing plan targeted toward physician relationship development to increase referral activity and support organizational goals and objectives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to development of new physician relationships, grand rounds activities, luncheons and dinner events, webinar outreach, community outreach, data review and analysis, and development and implementation of systems to support physician activity.

As a Practice Liaison, you will have the opportunity to work independently, using your expertise to educate regional physicians and practices about DIRM’s infertility treatment services.

Role and Responsibilities

• Covers the tri-state area of Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Maryland with some outreach in New Jersey
• Routinely visits with local physician community to educate clinical staff and build/maintain relationships with DIRM
• Builds relationships with OBGYN, PCP, Endocrinology, Urology, and Oncology providers and office staff to update them on procedures, new technologies and ease referral process
• Acts as an advocate to enhance communications with physicians and increase understanding of patient needs
• Acts as Operations Liaison to referring MD offices – tightening and improving the needs of offices with DIRM and improving DIRM processes
• Regularly logs visit information in Salesforce CRM
• Coordinates all physician-education marketing activities, including office breakfasts, lunch and learns, dinner seminars, and other programs
• Manages booth presence at various events/conferences throughout local market
• Proposes unique corporate education alliances/opportunities to HR Depts. and other decision-makers in HR finance, law, tech, teachers, etc. (corporations as well as large associations)
• Reexamines print collateral; suggests new ways to enhance communication with clients (video presentations, etc.)
• Stays up to date on research in the field and monitors competitor activity
• Manages process of locating new satellite offices as needed throughout the region

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Upbeat, professional demeanor
• Ideal candidate will reside in reasonable proximity to assigned territory
• Must have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
• Must be flexible with driving/covering large territory
• College education and 3-year minimum sales experience preferred
• Healthcare experience a plus (but not required)
• Experience with customer relationship management software a plus (but not required)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
