Being a Professor - Music provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Music typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Encore Music Studios is a brand new, state of the art music studio for music lessons of all ages. We are looking for anyone with a passion for music willing to teach one to six days a week. We offer lessons for drums, voice, brass/woodwinds, orchestra strings, guitar/bass, and piano. Encore Music Studios is located in a new facility in Arden Mills shopping plaza, 914 Smithfield Way.

    We are looking for teachers of all instruments!

    Since we are relatively new, we are mostly looking for part-time employees. We can always transition to a more full-time schedule as we recruit new students!

    We are open Monday-Saturday with a very flexible schedule to fit your lifestyle. Must be willing to have fun and enjoy working with students of all ages. Teaching experience is preferred and having a degree or formal training is great!

    Job Type: Contract

    Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
