    Argenta is looking for an experienced Pharmaceutical Sciences Director, US to join our Argenta, Kansas team.  


    The Pharmaceutical Sciences Director, US adds value through the following responsibilities:

    • Lead the Scientific Team at Argenta, Kansas and manage day to day site operations
    • Support the Head, Global Contract Development Organization with execution of all technical aspects of the Global CDO Projects
    • Support Argenta Business Development in winning new business
    • Manage all Argenta, Kansas projects on behalf of customers
    • Utilize Quality by Design (QbD) to develop products from molecule to market
    • Oversee the performances and productivity levels of Argenta, Kansas team members
    • Collaborate with Argenta Product Development to support new product identification and development
    • Collaborate with Argenta, Fort Dodge and Argenta, Auckland team to support product development, technology transfers, and troubleshoot manufacturing issues


    Pharmaceutical Sciences Director, US requirements:

    • Post graduate qualification in pharmaceutical science
    • 10 years of experience, preferably in animal health and Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC)
    • Demonstrated people leadership experience in pharmaceutical industry
    • Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in product development CMC using QbD principles, technology transfers and commercialization of pharmaceutical dosage forms.
    • Demonstrated expertise in planning, executing and reporting Design of Experiments (DoE) studies
    • Highly collaborative
    • Strong communication and listening skills 
    • Strong project management, planning and organizational skills
