Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Philosophy typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. PURPOSE: To provide education, instruction, and mentoring in specific educational content to students at Alaska Christian College and oversee Behavioral Health Program.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
All newly hired exempt faculty members will begin employment at the rank of Assistant Professor if they have not earned a doctorate or terminal degree. If newly hired faculty members have an earned terminal degree, they may begin employment at the rank of Associate Professor.
