General Summary of Position:
The Department of Philosophy seeks a full-time, Tenure-Track Assistant Professor. AOS: Asian/nonwestern and/or philosophy of race. AOC: open. The person filling this position will teach foundational and advanced courses in their area of expertise, and contribute to joint curriculum and research initiatives at the university. The successful candidate will have a robust scholarly record and research program in their area of specialization, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. We also have teaching needs in applied ethics, and seek candidates willing to teach in the area of biomedical, public health, or engineering ethics.
