Duties:
- Assist physical therapists in providing patient care and treatment
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions
- Escort patients to and from therapy sessions
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
- Provide support to patients during exercises and therapeutic activities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with acute care and occupational health environments
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
