Position Description | We are seeking candidates for a visiting position to start in August 2024. The candidate will teach courses in introductory psychology, psychological statistics, and research methods; additional courses could include a course on cognitive psychology, conditioning and learning, behavioral neuroscience, or sensation and perception. The teaching load is 4 courses a semester, and the position will include advising responsibilities. A master's degree in psychology or related discipline is required for appointment as Visiting Instructor; a Ph.D. in psychology or related discipline is required for appointment as Visiting Assistant Professor. All applicants must submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, statement of teaching philosophy, and contact information for two reference providers.
