Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, Georgia, is now accepting applicants for an Assistant Professor in the following discipline: Psychology. The position will begin its teaching responsibilities in August 2024.
Applicant must hold a Master’s Degree with 18 graduate semester hours or 30 quarter hours in the teaching discipline. Community College teaching experience is highly preferred. Applicant must be willing to teach day, evening, and/or weekend courses, as well as at various physical locations, remote and online.
This position is for an Assistant Professor or higher. Among the potential courses that could be taught would be a variety of introductory courses along with other 200-level courses. The hire will also serve as the Psychology Program Coordinator.
Major Responsibilities:
Each assignment will be for 20 quarter hours per term. The typical course is 5 quarter hours and may include day, evening, and Saturday classes. Additional responsibilities of Georgia Military College full-time faculty include maintaining regular office hours for student mentoring, curriculum review, and development, serving on College committees, and participating in various departmental and college activities
