Professor - Psychology teaches courses in the discipline area of psychology. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Psychology typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

  • Centrally located integrative psychology practice is seeking talented RBTs to join our ABA clinical team. We offer competitive pay, a fun and supportive work environment, flexible schedules, professional development, and room for growth. Our facility is more than 4,500 square feet and includes a computer lab, kitchen, and playroom! Therapy rooms are spacious and set up for specific age groups. Our ABA programming includes an early intervention/school readiness program, social skills groups, life skills training, and transition services. You will love coming to work!

    Must love working with kids, be dependable, love learning, and be able to work a flexible schedule between 9:00 am and 7:30 pm. NO WEEKENDS!

    Currently have 30 hour per week schedules

    Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

    • Provide 1 on 1 intensive ABA Therapy across a variety of settings.
    • Follow behavior-oriented teaching programs and protocols, specific to each client.
    • Keep a consistent schedule with assigned families & clients.
    • Complete required training as provided by the employer.
    • Maintain RBT certification.
    • Collect and maintain appropriate behavior data.
    • Complete all other required paperwork and documentation.
    • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
    • Attend staff meetings, training, and other required meetings.
    • Complete all additional job duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Director.
    • RBTs are responsible for the implementation and tracking of individual treatment plans and daily goals of children with ASD under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • ABA: 1 year (preferred)
    • Experience working with children diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) or related disabilities.
    • Registered Behavior Technician certification (National and State Certification)
    • Ability to work with families and children with diverse backgrounds, ethnicities, cultures and economic status.
    • Basic computer skills. Ability to type and use programs such as Microsoft Word & Excel.
    • Current Nevada driver’s license and access to personal transportation
    • Professionally interact with co-workers, clients, and families with respect and responsiveness to their needs.
    • Follow industry guidelines for ethical and professional performance.
    • Demonstrate dependability and time management skills.
    • Attend staff meetings and in-service training, with the opportunity to occasionally lead a portion of in-service training.
    • Implement knowledge of HIPAA and health and safety practices.
    • Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
    • Perform related duties as assigned.
    • Maintain accurate records/documentation
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team
    • Assist with parent education
    • High school diploma required
    • Must be able to pass criminal background check
    • Must be dependable
