Job Duties
Catawba Hospital, a 116-bed Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric facility located near Roanoke, Virginia, in the Blue Ridge mountains, is seeking a full-time psychology associate to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment services for adults ages 18-geriatric, including individual and group therapy. Whether you are a senior clinician or newer to the field, this is an opportunity to develop your skills in interdisciplinary consultation and to forge your unique path as a clinical leader in a friendly, professional atmosphere where psychology staff are valued members of the clinical teams and where excellent relationships exist among professional disciplines. Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral degree in psychology or counseling psychology from an accredited college/university
Professional experience with at least some autonomous functioning in a mental health setting with a broad program of interdisciplinary treatment is expected.
Additional Considerations
Licensed Clinical Psychologist preferred. Experience serving persons with adult and/or geriatric populations with severe mental illness, cognitive impairments, forensics, intellectual disabilities, and/or behavioral programming is preferable but not required.
