Utah Excel Psychology is pleased to announce an opening for a psychologist specializing in assessment and other services (such as psychotherapy, if desired). This is a contracted position, with potential to be eligible for an employment offer, with benefits, as you work towards a sustained caseload. Beginning date: Immediate
Compensation: Compensation is $104 to $125 per hour, depending on relevant experience. Compensation is NOT dependent on the amount of client fees collected for your services. It does NOT depend on whether or not insurances reimburse for your services. Payment to the contractor is guaranteed. Utah Excel Psychology has a no-surprises billing policy which works to benefit our clients, as well as facilitate predictable compensation for our contractors and employees.
Duties: This position requires skills in the effective delivery of psychological assessment and, if desired, psychotherapeutic interventions. Maintaining organized notes and treatment planning, and producing those notes in a timely manner is required. Referrals are made with respect to a psychologist's training and experience with specific populations, but it is anticipated that many of the available opportunities would involve treatment for anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, learning disorders, and more. Experience and training in testing for Autism Spectrum Disorder is highly valued.
Other Information: A Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology/Counseling Psychology or a Psy.D. with relevant training/experience is required. Also, it is imperative that a hired candidate meet relevant licensing requirements for the state of Utah. A hired candidate must also have at least 600 clinical hours in psychological assessment before graduating with a Ph.D. or Psy.D. and at least 2000 clinical hours in psychological assessment after graduating with a Ph.D. or Psy.D.
