Professor - Rehabilitation teaches courses in the discipline area of rehabilitation and therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Rehabilitation provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Rehabilitation typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Threshold Rehabilitation Services, Inc., a human service agency supporting people with disabilities has several openings in the Mental Health Division.

Mosaic House Clubhouse seeks a dynamic candidate who possesses the appropriate experience and/or work history in the mental health field. Candidates who are bilingual are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities include working closely and effectively with staff and members to achieve the goals of the clubhouse while being committed to assisting individuals to achieve their personal outcomes.
Additional duties include coordinating and developing projects to increase member involvement, developing work opportunities for members, support and advocacy for members, as well as developing leadership opportunities to assist members with self-empowerment.
The hours for the full time position at Mosaic House are Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm, with occasional Wednesdays until 6:00pm, occasional Saturdays and Holidays for special events.
*These are great work hours with most Holidays off and paid starting day one of employment for full time employees!!
Full time staff are eligible for benefits including medical, dental and vision, paid vacation and sick days as well as a 401(k) Plan.
Threshold provides comprehensive paid training.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field, experience with job development/job training preferred
- Computer knowledge is a must
- Experience working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis is a plus
- Valid PA Driver's License
- PA Motor Vehicle Record Check
- Use of vehicle while working with valid registration and insurance coverage indicating you are an insured driver
- Pre-employment Drug Screen
- PA Criminal History Clearance
- FBI Clearance (if candidate has not been a resident of PA for the past two consecutive years)
