Being a Professor - Social Work provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Social Work typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provide supervised visitation for kids and families in the foster care system. A Bachelor's degree is required and this is a subcontractor 1099 position. Flexible schedule. Must have a car to transport parents and or children to visit location. CPR and First Aid required as well as background checks per State guidelines. Must have good writing skills to document visits and own computer and cell phone. Location varies.
