seeking a dynamic Elementary Exceptional Student Educator who provides educational services to students
with disabilities and is responsible for planning, developing, delivering, and
evaluating appropriate individualized educational services, learning programs,
and instruction in the resource, inclusion, LID, and other instructional
settings.
The Exceptional Student Educator, under the
direction of the Special Education Program Administrator provides quality
services to special education students, kindergarten through grade 12. The
Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning
and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial
assistance and consultation with general education staff.

• Through consultation,
resource, inclusion, and co-teaching models, the Special Education team
provides essential support, following an Individualized Education Plan, to
ensure each student is served in the least restrictive environment possible.
· Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
· Experience working with children with a wide range of
disabilities.
· Bachelor’s in Special Education or relevant major; Master’s is a plus.
· Valid Teaching Certificate OR Valid Statement of Eligibility
· Valid State Special Education Teaching Certification
· Prior Teaching Experience Preferred
