    The Assistant Vice President provides leadership to the global operations and account management teams in respective verticals by executing great customer service and meeting all contractual obligations. Managing the full cycle accounting functions of multiple clients, including but not limited to: financial statements, cash management and other Quatrro services.  Serves as the brand ambassador and thought-leader of Quatrro and helps initiate, maintain and develop the relationship as the primary contact and internal liaison for the client within Quatrro. Sets a clear vision for the development of the relationship by establishing and executing a client relationship strategy that allows the client to achieve their financial goals and objectives.  Serve key role in new client onboarding, resource planning and project management.  Grow new and existing revenue streams with scalable products. 

    The ideal candidate will have CFO  experience in not-for-profit organizations such as public education, healthcare, and human services.  
    This position is local, local-remote, with the possibility of infrequent travel on-site to clients in the greater Chicago area.

    The ideal candidate will have Accounting/ Financial leadership experience in not-for-profit organizations such as public education, healthcare, and human services.  
    This position is local, local-remote, with the possibility of infrequent travel on-site to clients in the greater Chicago area.  


    Business Oversight (50-75%)
     

    1. Execute contract terms and scope to ensure financial profitability for existing client(s) portfolio.

    2. Renegotiates all contract extensions, including pricing, along with the Vice President and Senior Vice President.

    3. Serves as primary contact for multiple, large, complex accounts.  Delivers accurate and timely financial statements, providing coaching and counseling to stakeholders and operations managers to help improve margins and impact their bottom line.  Discuss monthly financial statements, plans, and schedules as applicable with the client. Lead budget process and incorporate periodic analytics.

    4. Builds and maintains relationships by speaking with clients and key stakeholders and providing them with world-class customer service.  

    5. Identifies, engages, and delivers the right resources and solutions for all Quatrro services provided to the client.

    6. Works closely with clients to solve issues related to complicated financial statement situations.  Monitors finances to aid clients functioning within those guidelines and provides financial analysis and advice to clients.

    7. Provides best practices within Quatrro to help the client improve their business execution. Coordinates as needed with other internal Quatrro teams for consultative support on all financial services. Accesses and contributes to the organization’s subject matter expertise objectives.

    8. Establish a relationship with the client to obtain all necessary documentation promptly in order to meet the contractual delivery timeline for all services.

    9. Works with the internal finance team to ensure clients are appropriately invoiced every month.

    10. Provide leadership, mentoring, and guidance to cross-functional teams aligned to a particular client delivery processes.

    11. Addresses client concerns and issues to ensure they are resolved promptly and dealt with according to client satisfaction.

    12. Alert management to any client changes that will positively or negatively impact revenue (i.e., additional Quatrro services and/or going concerns, revenue expansion, etc.)

    13. Build and maintain relationships by gaining insights into the client business to become a trusted advisor, which lays the groundwork to sell additional Quatrro products and services to the client.\

    14. Provides executive-level partnership by presenting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with the division VP if applicable.  Participate as requested by client in their Board or other executive level meetings if applicable.

    15.  Responsible for achieving Run the Business (RTB) P&L for each account in your responsible vertical. Demonstrate budgeted margin for all clients within the vertical or actionable plans to achieve desired profitability. Performs monthly projections with the leadership team.

    16. Responsible for revenue and SARG targets being achieved and proactively drives revenue maximization through the clients. Monitors and tracks SARG opportunities presented and ensures that all clients are contacted. Advises the Vice President when circumstances jeopardize the achievement of the revenue and SARG targets.

    Other duties and responsibilities: (25-50%)
     
    1. Thought leadership:  Presentations on technical and management issues to organizations, associations, and prospective clients  
    2. Product development and implementation:  Create, modify, grow, and exploit new tools and products to drive new and scalable revenue streams in the vertical (in coordination with leadership)
    3. Project management, resource planning, and team integration to ensure a seamless new client onboarding process. Participates in special projects and committees within the team. Travel to client sites based on business needs.
    4. Works closely with client staff at all levels to ensure quality and efficiency.
    5. Other duties as requested.
     
    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    1. Manages the global team deliverables.
    2. Manage multiple direct reports, including mentoring, training, and development.
    3. Assess and select top talent by following Quatrro’s comprehensive hiring policy.
    4. Review team performance by offering constructive feedback and sign off on individual development plans.
    5. Timely recognition and reward for staff.
     
     
    Extent of Public Contact:
    1. Frequently serves as a representative of Quatrro as a “Thought leader” to various organizations within the industry and broader community, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions 
    2. Continually serves as a representative of Quatrro to the clients, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions.

     
     
    Knowledge and Skills:

    Required:    4-year degree in accounting, finance or business with accounting/finance focus (or equivalent knowledge/experience), ability to manage priorities and functions, excellent interpersonal skills. Advanced knowledge of industry-specific accounting software and advanced Excel skills. 
    10 years of non-profit industry experience. 
    12 years of Controller/CFO/CAO experience. Business acumen and ability to communicate with key stakeholders and C-level executives. A blend of management and extensive accounting experience with a record of expanding responsibility and achievement for mid to large-size organizations.

    Preferred:  Master’s Degree, CPA, previous people management experience. Experienced in creating processes and efficiencies to create an operational Center of Excellence.
    Desirable:    Accounting experience within Auto, Retail, Healthcare, or NFP Industries. Experience in consulting, business process outsourcing (BPO), and/or systems. 

     
    Physical demands: This position requires daily use of fingers, talking, sitting, listening, and vision.  Equipment used includes, but is not limited to: computers and keyboards, calculators, writing utensils, and telephones.  On a frequent basis, employee must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
     
    Working Conditions and Environment: Employees must be willing to work at a location in a small-to-mid-sized office setting, plus attend client conferences and meetings that may or may not be held during the workday.  Travel to other Quatrro locations or client offices may be necessary, as well as attendance at company management meetings with other offices throughout the globe. Other travel may be required based on business needs and must be approved by the COO.
