Contributes to fundraising, budgeting, research, and community outreach efforts. The duty station for this position will be a home-based worksite or other non-HUD owned space anywhere within HUD's Regions 5 or 6, which encompasses the states of Illinois, Indianapolis, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Specialized Experience: For the GS-11 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:

Travel may be required to locations regionally or throughout the US and US territories. The position requires walking, carrying of light items, climbing stairs, standing, or driving an automobile, while traveling to various entities/organizations throughout the contiguous United States.
Employees may experience an environment that involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, residences, or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
This is a mobile position, selectee will be required to work 100% of the time in a non-HUD owned space, 50% of that time will require the employee to travel to sites outside of their homebase site. The employee's workspace must be suitable for conducting business and as such, remote employees are expected to provide a secure, distraction-free, home-based worksite with reliable high speed internet connectivity. Selectees will be required to self-certify that their remote workplace meets all safety, privacy, and internet speed requirement.
