    Assist customers/Transportation Service Providers (TSP) on service failures, complaints, claims and other general information.

    Arrange shipments, discerning rates, services, route suitability, tonnage distribution, storage, packing, pickup, special services, releases, renewals, partial withdrawals, deliveries then initiate orders to effect or confirm actions.

    Select and apply tariffs and rating tools to determine maximum government obligation for entitlements for shipping and storage.

    Ascertain and/or compute excess costs, advising customer and prompting service-level adjudication for authorized entitlements and/or unusual requests.

    Conduct financial audits, analyze shipment reweigh, generate daily invoicing workflow, and ensure lines of accounting on each individual order is accurate/valid.

    Qualifications

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE FOR
    GS-05: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-04 level in federal service or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience is experience gained while scheduling appointments; maintaining automated appointment systems; greeting customers; computing and collecting excess cost for excess weight; establishing and maintaining files and assisting with the counseling of customers or performing a variety of clerical, administrative and word processing tasks.
