The successful applicant will be a member of the Livestock Services Program in DANR. What you will do:
This position assists program staff in protecting South Dakota's water quality through the implementation of the state's permitting of Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations and the safety of the state's milk and egg products through implementation of statewide agricultural dairy and egg programs. The position manages data collection systems including organization of electronic documents to ensure capability of evaluating program effectiveness and efficiency, meeting reporting requirements, and monitoring compliance. The position assists program professionals with permitting processes.
