Project Manager Job Description
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Cleveland (UUCC) seeks a part-time Project Manager for their
Pretrial Support Team project. The position is grant funded for up to two years. The Project Manager will be expected
to work 20 hours a week (primarily remote) and be flexible to work after hours or on weekends if necessary.
About the project
The Pretrial Support Team will provide supportive services to individuals who are in their pretrial period.
Using volunteer navigators, individuals will be connected to services in the community and supported
during the pretrial phase. The goals of the project are to demonstrate that pretrial success - court appearance, compliance with court-ordered provisions of release, and public safety - can occur when people are supported in meeting their court obligations.
Contract hours: up to 1000 hours per year at $35.00 per hour (20 hours per week, 50 weeks (about eleven and a half months)
per year, prorated for partial year). Pay is issued every 2 weeks. Reports to: Specified member of UUCC.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for criminal justice reform, a firm believer in the
power of community partnerships and dedicated to the improvement of local criminal justice; they will be well-versed in social justice and systemic racism issues, knowledgeable of local community resources, andfamiliar with the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court system.
Education and experience
The ideal candidate will have experience working with disadvantaged populations, managing and
leading projects, compiling and sharing regular data reports, supervising volunteer staff, and be knowledgeable about community resources.Candidates must have basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, using virtual meeting and training platforms (Zoom), and navigating the internet. Candidates with lived experience are especially encouraged to apply; residency in Cuyahoga County is preferred.
