What you will do:
The Controller is responsible for maintaining fiscal operations, including general accounting, budgeting, banking, payroll.

Provides leadership and maintains overall responsibility for the day to day fiscal operations of Seton Center. Serves as a key member of the Leadership Team, staff lead to the Finance Committee and Board of Directors to drive execution of strategic financial goals.
Initiates and develops Seton Center’s annual operating budget. Leads Directors in monthly review and forecasting of revenue and expenses.
Prepares all internal and external financial reports and documents including the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the organization, programs and grant-related components.
Prepares Journal Entries and Reconciliations, daily deposits, enters invoices,
Collaborates closely with the Development Department to ensure appropriate grant management processes are in place.
Provides oversight and processes the payroll, including input of new hire paperwork.
Serves as point of contact to the auditor throughout the entire process.
Prepares all internal and external financial reports and documents including the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements for the organization, programs and grant-related components.
Updates and enforces policies and procedures for the Finance Department.
Ensures compliance with corporate and GAAP/GAAS standards.
Serves as subject matter expert for capitalization of expenses.
Identifies and implements systems and processes to realize efficiencies across the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; C.P.A. or Master’s of Finance degree preferred
Experience:
Demonstrated leader with a minimum of five years of progressive responsibility in management in a nonprofit organization; 10 years preferred
