Our private and established non-profit organization is seeking a full-time account manager.
We are a representative payee organization who provides service to clients receiving Social Security benefits.
We are seeking candidates that have patience, a desire to serve others and are comfortable working with clients with mental illness.
The Account Manager is responsible for working directly with clients to create a monthly budget which will allow the client to maintain a stable living situation.
Our ideal candidate is energetic, possesses strong people skills and has an ability to work with a wide variety of people including clients suffering from a variety of physical and/or mental illnesses.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones; Work with clients directly in person and on the phone
Connect clients to outside referrals for housing and medical care
Use the Client Account Management database to process check requests Work with management to address payment issues including lost checks, stop payments, voided and outstanding checks, etc.
Manage client accounts for accuracy and compliance with Social Security Administration regulations
Process month-end report on clients' expenditures for Social Security Administration
Collaborate with Office Manager to facilitate account reconciliation and follow-up on outstanding issues
Experience managing/overseeing staff is required
Run reports relevant to the data and advise staff on necessary adjustments to client accounts
Ability to help create a team that works effectively and meets deadlines

This is an hourly position with benefits (after eligibility) including health, dental and vision insurance and vacation and sick leave.
