The 340B Program Coordinator will work under the supervision of the System Pharmacy Business Manager to ensure compliance with the 340B program as well as to maximize the benefits of the program. The 340B Program Coordinator will synthesize and analyze all data related to participation in the 340B drug discount program including performing routine audits, maintaining policies, procedures, and certification, and is responsible for day-to-day administration and operation of the 340B drug discount program. This position has access to and knowledge of extremely sensitive, private and confidential materials. Ability to maintain the highest standard in this area is required with zero tolerance.
DCH Standards:
Bachelors of science/ bachelors of arts in business or health related field preferred. Current 340B certification or the ability to obtain within three (3) years of hire. Experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in a pharmacy setting or Minimum two years’ healthcare experience in or along with Pharmacy Purchasing/Supply Chain Management background required. Must have the ability to effectively give directions, analyze problems, and interpret analytical data. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate attention to detail to provide high quality service. Must be able to operate a computer, calculator and a telephone, transfer carts and other related pharmacy equipment. Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English.
