About the Role:

As a HCA, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team, providing direct patient care and support services to residents or patients in our [hospital/nursing home/clinic] setting. Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and ambulation.
• Monitor vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) and report any changes to the nurse.
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
• Collect patient specimens and perform basic hygiene care.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Document patient care in accordance with facility guidelines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Home Care Aide (HCA) in good standing with the state of Washington.
• Strong compassion and a genuine desire to help others.
• CPR/Food worker card and reliable transportation (is a plus)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, transferring, and assisting patients.
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
