This program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to develop their skills, enhance their knowledge, and explore potential career paths in the rewarding field of home care.

Duration: 6 months to a Year

Position Description:

As a Student Home Care Assistant, you will have the chance to work closely with experienced professionals in the home care sector. You will be involved in various aspects of caregiving, providing essential support to clients in their homes. This hands-on experience will allow you to apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world situations, fostering personal and professional growth.

Responsibilities:

·       Assisting clients with activities of daily living, such as grooming, bathing, and dressing.

·       Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.

·       Assisting with light housekeeping tasks.

·       Observing and reporting changes in clients' health or behavior.

·       Collaborating with other team members to ensure the well-being of clients.

Qualifications:

·       Currently enrolled (or planning to) in a relevant program (e.g., Nursing, Healthcare, Social Work, etc.) at an accredited institution.

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Compassionate and empathetic attitude.

·       Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients' privacy.

·       Reliable and punctual.
