Additionally, Program Director - Home Care typically reports to top management. The Program Director - Home Care manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. We are seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team of dedicated and compassionate caregivers. As a PCA/ LNA, you will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide hands-on care to clients in their home. As a part of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

    What you'll be doing
    • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
    • Assist with mobility including transferring and ambulation.
    • Prepare and assist with meals and feeding.
    • Provide medication reminders as needed.
    • Provide companionship and emotional support.
    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation.
    • Assist with light housekeeping and run errands as needed.

    • Previous caregiving experience in any manner.
    • Ability to pass a BEAS and Criminal Background Check.
    • Pre-employment Physical and TB test.
    • Provide 2 professional references.
    • Must have reliable transportation to travel to client homes and run errands when required.
    • Ability to work independently and as a team.
    • Must be able to speak, write, and read English.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older.

    A good LNA/ PCA is a compassionate, supportive and well-rounded individual. Maintaining reliability and accountability is vital. As a home care worker, there is a great deal of independence in your day-to-day operations and this comes with the responsibility to promptly report any changes in status of your clients, to always arrive on time, and to communicate any anticipated changes in your schedule. These traits are imperative to provide the necessary support and comfort to recovering, disabled or frail clients. Being dependable and having a kind heart is necessary to be successful in this position.
