Designs policies, procedures, and strategies to meet program objectives. Being a Program Director (Non-Profit) oversees program operations and leads and coordinates the activities of program teams and partners. Utilizes data-driven analysis and forecasting to measure and evaluate the performance of programs. Additionally, Program Director (Non-Profit) develops budgets and may manage the grant proposal process. Organizes and oversees fundraising and community outreach events. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an executive. The Program Director (Non-Profit) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Through dynamic and innovative approaches, Student Life is a robust division that provides students with opportunities for meaningful engagement and transformation in the co-curricular context. The Residence Director (RD) is a required live-in position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to supervising and leading a community of students with the goal of fostering a vibrant Christian community that is fully engaged in the academic and co-curricular life of HSU. The RD is an essential partner in the education, development, and empowerment of the whole student.
