Program Director (Non-Profit) develops the programs and teams to fulfill the mission, vision, and goals of a non-profit organization.   • The Mission of Sheltered91

    The mission of Sheltered91(S91) is to offer hope and healing to people who have suffered from commercial sexual exploitation by providing resources to begin a new life.  Sheltered91 is a faith based, non-profit organization and is seeking applicants who have a personal relationship with Christ, who desire to make a difference in the world.  

    The Program Director is responsible for leadership and oversight and development of Sheltered91’s program by providing evaluation and support to the case manager, interns, volunteers and participants in the program. The PD develops strategies to allow for continued growth within program development and provides trauma-informed training to the S91 staff and interns. The PD oversees S91 programming and measures outcomes and effectiveness, adjusting and changing program policy and procedures when necessary. The PD develops the S91 program matrix and is responsible for implementation of such matrix.

    Additionally, the PD in collaboration with the Executive Director develops and plans strategies to manage program growth and ensure program sustainability. The PD reviews program services and changes them as necessary to meet the clients’ needs. The PD recruits interns and oversees the internship program of S91.

    The PD works closely with the Executive Director to develop and monitor budgets for S91 programs. The PD reports to the Executive Director.

    Organizational and Team Management 

    • Serves as a senior leader in the organization working to plan, build, and ensure effectiveness and innovation for Sheltered91. 
    • Partners regularly with the Executive Director to develop strategies and detail the progress and status of the S91 program.
    • Participates in and helps lead the development of strong organizational goals, planning, and strategic development.
    • Creates a strong culture of management and supervision across the organization.
    • Oversees an outcome-based annual work-plan for S91.
    • Manages ongoing professional development of program staff to embrace the development of team talent, skills, and capacity.
    • Provides ongoing evaluations of staff and interns, assesses training needs, prepares staff training plans, coordinates provision of needed and required annual training.
    • Manages, supervises, and coaches the S91 Program Team to set strategic goals and support a values-based organization and team culture that reflects the values of S91.
    • Ensures that all policies and procedures are routinely followed including Record Keeping, Intake Procedures, Health and Safety, Clinical Services, Personal Development Plans and Progress.

    Program Oversight

    • Responsible for maintaining programming to participants at S91.
    • Maintains best practices in accordance with industry standards of care for survivors of sex-trafficking.
    • Oversees intake procedures for all S91 programs for appropriate referral base and participant support.
    • Partners with appropriate departments in higher education to recruit interns year-round and meet quality of training expectations at university standards.
    • The PD will provide response plans in correlation with the participants care team when program ruptures and policy issues arise.
    • The PD together with the Executive Director are responsible for high quality program design, implementation, and results so that the participants benefit from therapy, case management, Bible study, education, and life skills training.
    • The PD provides oversight for participant Individual Care Plans (ICP) and accomplishes participant care by assessing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while developing, monitoring, and evaluating the participant’s ICP progress.

    Program Evaluation and Development

    • Works with local agencies and survivors to understand the needs of survivors and those at risk within the community.
    • Research best practices for available program options and works with SLT to implement strategy.
    • Collaborate care with community partnerships to fit the needs of individuals in the program.
    • Assists in creating documentation on behalf of Sheltered91 for program development needs and participant care.
    • Manages the assessment tools and program evaluation systems, develops the annual program matrix, and reports on quarterly measurement goals to the Executive Director.

    Sheltered91 is a faith-based ministry. All Sheltered91 employees must sign a Statement of Faith. Employees must be affiliated and in good standing with a local church. A pastoral reference will be asked during the application process.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $45,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
