Job Summary:
We are seeking a floater to join our team at First Baptist Child Development Center. As a floater you would be responsible for helping teachers, giving breaks, lunches, bathroom breaks, etc. You could also spend time in the children's classrooms on occasion when a teacher was absent. This would not happen though before you were well trained by a staff member. A floater is mainly at the facility to give aid to anyone who needs it but its a great opportunity to learn about pre-school age if you are interested in making a career with children.
Hours would be set according to availability. Being in a childcare setting also gives a person the opportunity to move up and become a teacher in a classroom in the future and be a valuable member of our team.
There is no experience or a degree needed to be a floater but you would need to take some online trainings once you are employed. We are a 5 star licensed facility and it is required by the state to have health and safety trainings when working with children.
