Program Director (Non-Profit) develops the programs and teams to fulfill the mission, vision, and goals of a non-profit organization. Designs policies, procedures, and strategies to meet program objectives. Being a Program Director (Non-Profit) oversees program operations and leads and coordinates the activities of program teams and partners. Utilizes data-driven analysis and forecasting to measure and evaluate the performance of programs. Additionally, Program Director (Non-Profit) develops budgets and may manage the grant proposal process. Organizes and oversees fundraising and community outreach events. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an executive. The Program Director (Non-Profit) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Program Director (Non-Profit) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.     Duties and responsibilities:

    Self-Sufficiency Coordinators engage with individuals seeking to disrupt and permanently break the cycle of poverty by providing long-term case management services focused at moving them off of the public welfare system.

    • Engage individuals in a way that reduces barriers to their acceptance of services, including meeting them in the office, in their home, and/or other public locations.
    • Partner with other agencies that can provide supportive services which address Social Determinates of Health and other barriers to economic self-sufficiency, using a team approach to help clients reach their goals.
    • Provide employment search and long-term case management for enrolled individuals, developing goal plans and staying in regular contact to re-assess what resources are needed to help each client achieve economic self-sufficiency.
    • Network, participate, and attend related meetings with other relevant agencies.
    • Maintain and update client files, using all assigned databases to track client progress, within three working days from contact.
    • Assist with the planning, implementation, facilitation, and/or attendance of special events relating to programming and initiatives in the community.

    Requirements:

    • Two years of directly related and demonstrated experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Ability to successfully pass Act 33/34 and FBI clearances.
    • Valid Driver’s License and car insurance with an acceptable motor vehicle report.
    • Ability to travel within 3-county service region daily.

    Salary:

    This is a non-exempt position with a starting hourly rate of $19.00. This position is based off of a 35 hour workweek.

    Pay: $19.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 35 per week
