The No Excuses Foundation is a 501c3 not profit organization that hosts sporting and fashion events to raise money for scholarships. We're now hiring a Food Service Worker to help us during our main summer event, the No Excuses Pro League, which is an elite level basketball league featuring NBA and College Players . This position is working our concessions stand on Thurs & Fri evening s and Sun afternoons, 8 hours/day. Responsibilities for Food Service Worker

• Clean the counter top as needed
• Help with food preparation
• Create simple food
• Deliver food orders to customers
• Keep the kitchen clean and orderly
• Take customer orders and payments
• Keep track of inventory
• Answer any customer questions
• Follow food safety regulations at all times

Qualifications for Food Service Worker

• High School Diploma preferred
• Ability to listen to directions
• Amazing work ethic
• Ability to learn new skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to learn and read directions
• Ability to stand for 8 hours a day

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Meal Preparation: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food Production Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Food service: 1 year (Required)

• Houston, TX 77007: Relocate before starting work (Required)
