  • SAFY is seeking a full time Program Director to oversee Intensive Home-Based Treatment (IHBT) Services for the Lima Behavioral Health division in Ohio.

    As an IHBT Program Director, you will be responsible for the quality of services carried out in the communities where we provide IHBT services. Provide continuous direction, assistance, and clinical oversight to those supervised. Accountable for the fiscal viability of the program.

    What You’ll Do

    Clinical:

    • Directly involved in Implementation of IHBT services throughout the state
    • Directly involved with crisis intervention.
    • Collaborate with teams to process appropriate referrals and engagement into the SAFY program.
    • Ensure that the teams meet the fidelity model of the program and oversees program compliance.
    • Ensure program quality, business and clinical annual goals are met.
    • Provide clinical supervision to clinical staff by adhering to clinical supervision model.
    • Prepare reports, as required, in a timely manner.

    Supervisory:

    • Lead, coach and develop a high-performance team. Provide direction to staff in the form of answers to problems and advice with staff performance and youth issues. Establish performance goals and monitor progress for the staff in the IHBT program.
    • Interview candidates applying for assigned clinical and non-clinical positions in the program. Responsible for the training of assigned staff, which includes, thorough and complete training for new employees and assuring that the current staff receive appropriate continuing education.
    • Assign and evaluate performance goals, conduct monthly supervision, and perform scheduled evaluations for all direct reports. Establish work schedules and on call rotation among staff to assure program coverage.
    • Supervise treatment plan development and reviews. Provides supervisory and clinical backup support for the needs of parents and staff.
    • Fill in for various positions during absence of vacancy of such. This may include providing direct services to parents and clinical support to youth in the absence of a therapist.
    • Conducts program team meetings and provides oversight to all staff in IHBT programs, addressing both the clinical and operational issues within the program.
    • Work with Executive Director/Assistant Executive Director and finance department to develop an annual operating budget and work within that budget once approved. Review monthly financial information and make suggestions when necessary.

    Other:

    • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of SAFY staff by participating in joint meetings, and problem identification and resolution.
    • Establish and maintain a supportive and positive working relationship with referring agencies, and other SAFY stake holders.
    • Attend relevant in-house and external seminars, trainings, conferences, and workshops to develop and enhance knowledge in the designated area as well as achieve relevant education hours per year to enhance professional and job-related skills.
    • Attends required meetings within program, state, and central office (team and/or community partners).
    • Participate in assigned committees and chairs if so appointed. If appointed, maintain liaisons with state and national organizations.
    • Meets regularly with supervisor to discuss issues and performance.
    • Submit monthly/quarterly reports to immediate supervisor.
    • Sensitive and responsive to the cultural differences of staff, clients, and others.
    • Conduct new staff orientation training as necessary.
    • Provide backup to on call response for IHBT Program.
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or other license-eligible related field of human services
    • LISW/LPCC required
    • Required to obtain Adoptions Assessor Certification
    • Three years of experience in the field of social services; one year being in a supervisory/administrative capacity and two years being in providing direct care services
