Program Director (Non-Profit) develops the programs and teams to fulfill the mission, vision, and goals of a non-profit organization. Designs policies, procedures, and strategies to meet program objectives. Being a Program Director (Non-Profit) oversees program operations and leads and coordinates the activities of program teams and partners. Utilizes data-driven analysis and forecasting to measure and evaluate the performance of programs. Additionally, Program Director (Non-Profit) develops budgets and may manage the grant proposal process. Organizes and oversees fundraising and community outreach events. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to an executive. The Program Director (Non-Profit) typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Program Director (Non-Profit) typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Fundraiser/Canvasser for Animal Rights Non-Profit

    Hours: 5 days per week between Tuesday-Sunday (Monday one other weekday of your choice off)
    Pay: $20ph (base pay) plus uncapped bonuses - OTE $35

    We're looking for energetic, confident communicators who aren't afraid to strike up a conversation to represent the ASPCA - an incredible animal welfare non-profit who are committed to preventing cruelty to animals! From rescuing animals from abuse to passing humane laws, the ASPCA are a voice for animals - and you in turn can be a voice for them!

    The Position: You will work with your team on different busy streets in the city where you will engage in incredible conversations with members of the public, inspiring them to become a supporter of the ASPCA. Each and every conversation you have will have an impact!

    No experience required! Full, paid training will be provided. Instead we're looking for:

    People with experience in the following sectors/positions are especially suited to fundraising: performing arts/theatre, canvassing, sales, customer service, retail, bar work, serving and hospitality. It's also a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates looking for an entry-level non-profit position to kick start their career!

    We Offer:

    • Full time guaranteed hours
    • Base pay of $20 per hour plus uncapped daily and weekly bonuses (OTE $35ph) paid weekly

    Requirements:

    • Ability to work 5 days per week between Tues-Sun
    • Available to work full time for a minimum of 3 months
    • Must be aged 18 years or over
    • Happy to work outside!
    • Must be willing to travel to various locations in LA and canvass outdoors and/or at large events.
    • Some experience or interest in social justice, activism, poverty alleviation, humanitarian causes, the environment, charitable causes, and/or non profit organizations.
