About the Role: The Director, Program Management Office will play an integral role in managing Foresight’s product portfolio and delivering projects on time and within budget. The role reports into the SVP, Business and Laboratory Strategy & Operations. The individual will collaborate with research, development, clinical, bioinformatics, software, operations, regulatory, quality, and external partners to deliver projects. You will own, drive, communicate, and engage all project partners to enable accountability and problem solving as we continue to raise the bar with continuous improvement on agile program management principles.
What You Will Bring:
8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
PMP or other project management certifications preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure and have led projects bringing products to market in a biotechnology environment (diagnostics product experience preferred).
Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities and understanding of business strategy.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
What You Will Do:
Strategy
Review product development portfolio monthly with stakeholders and drive decisions on prioritization, investments, and resources.
Create the vision for a team of program and project managers to successfully deliver to company objectives according to complex needs and timelines.
Understand the customer and market solution requirements. Develop and communicate the project strategy and plan to achieve project success with the functional teams.
Develop and implement project management policies, procedures, and standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as appropriate.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.
Execution
Lead and empower the PMO, enabling multi-functional teams to navigate all activities required to design, develop, and commercially release innovative technologies against project objectives.
Identify and drive improvements in the portfolio level processes to increase product quality, program cycle time, and development costs, while continuously looking for improvements in visual management to senior leadership.
Lead project planning and execution, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource management.
Communicate project status, issues, and risks to executive leadership and stakeholders.
Build Teams
Prioritize talent management and elevate talent development by advancing the team, hiring strong talent, and fostering knowledge diversity to accelerate the expansion and growth of the business.
Ensure effective project management processes are in place, leveraging tools and processes to enable the development of the project pipeline.
Provide coaching and mentoring to program and project managers
This role is offering a salary between $178,000-205,000, generous equity, along with medical, dental and vision benefits. You will be working on interesting problems with extremely high impact.
