The Program Management Office Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     With a general acute-care facility at the core, this Health System provides Emergency Care, Surgical Care, a variety of Medical Clinics, Ancillary Services, and Obstetrics, just to name a few. The Quality Management Director will be responsible for overseeing and directing quality and risk management programs for the entire Health System. The Director of Quality will prepare for survey readiness, design hospital performance improvement measures, educate incoming staff on quality assurance guidelines, and utilize hospital resources to achieve and maintain optimal standards of patient care.

    The Quality Management Director will work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer and Chief Executive Officer to ensure that quality assurance goals are met, and will continually collaborate with hospital leadership to devise quality improvement plans. The Director of Quality Management will have the wonderful opportunity to provide their hands-on leadership skills to establish and maintain delivery of high quality patient care.

    Requirements for the Director Quality Management role include:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field
    • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) Certification
    • 3 years of progressive clinical leadership experience
    • 3 years of experience in hospital quality, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and/or survey preparedness
