Program Management Office Director directs and oversees the Program Management Office (PMO) to ensure programs and projects meet organization goals and requirements. Develops and implements PMO processes and policies, directs project management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs. Being a Program Management Office Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Program Management Office Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Program Management Office Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and oversight of Cascadia’s Project Management Office, ensuring alignment with our Strategic Plan and executive priorities.
    • Provide strategic direction for high-level projects, guiding teams through complex challenges and driving solutions.
    • Establish standardized project management processes and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
    • Mentor and develop staff engaged in project management activities, promoting leadership and professional growth.
    • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute recommendations that support our organizational goals and vision.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Public Health, or related field.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP), Program Management Professional (PgMP), or equivalent certification.
    • Seven years of experience in project or portfolio management, with demonstrated leadership capabilities and at least one year in a supervisory role.
