Develops and implements PMO processes and policies, directs project management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs. The Program Management Office Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     As the Domestic Violence Program Director, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

    • Oversee recruitment hiring, training, supervision and evaluation of the Domestic Violence staff and volunteers.
    • Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed by staff and volunteers as set forth in the New York State Office of Children and Family Services’ Regulations and the agency’s standards and procedures.
    • Provide direct services to victims of domestic violence, including: running support groups, legal advocacy, referrals, transportation assistance, emergency assistance, counseling by phone and in person, and safety planning.
    • Provide coverage for the 24/7 crisis hotline as additional staff are needed for intakes or emergencies, during a staff vacancy, or when a staff member is unable to cover due to illness, etc.
    • Maintain confidentiality and observe all privacy regulations and requirements.

    Qualifications:

    • 4 year/Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
    • 3-5 years of experience working with a diverse population
