    Position Summary & Responsibilities:

    Office of Recovery State Agency Program Coordinator

    The Office of Recovery State Agency Program Coordinator is responsible for the management and implementation of programs funded by the American Rescue Plan Act. This position will work closely with stakeholders, including agency leadership, Governor’s Office, legislators, and other community partners to develop, implement, manage, and closeout COVID relief and response programs. Tasks include monitoring and assessing grant planning, implementation, and compliance for both financial accountability and programmatic outcomes.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Maintain regular communication with agency contacts to ensure timely completion of federal and state program application, implementation, and reporting requirements.
    • Serve as technical assistance resource to state agencies receiving federal funding.
    • Assist in the development and production of webinar and other training/informational materials for agencies and other stakeholders.
    • Research and monitor federal and state legislative and regulatory developments regarding Federal COVID relief programs.
    • Proactively manage changes to program scope and implementation.
    • Assist in the development, implementation, revision, and evaluation of office policy and procedure.
    • Represent the Office of Recovery at agency, state or local meetings as needed.
    • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned in order to meet the objective of the Office of Recovery.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    One year experience in planning, organizing, and directing the work of a department, program, or agency.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Experience in state government operations and federal grant administration.
    • Ability to comprehend state and federal regulation, legislation, and policy.
    • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel
    • Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
    • Willingness to take on administrative tasks as needed
