Examples of non-qualifying titles are: Developmental Disabilities Secure Care Treatment Aide 1; Direct Support Assistant; Food Service Worker 1; Licensed Practical Nurse; Mental Health Therapy Aide; and Security Services Assistant.


    Duties Description
    This position functions as a key user for entering over 132 transactions of daily Residential Habilitation Billing for Chenango County Family Care. This position also has responsibility for changes and entries in CHOICES and TABS whenever necessary. They review and make determinations on Res Hab billing, gather information, monitor the billing process to ensure compliance with DDSOO policies, procedures, and requirements. They assist in the preparation, review, evaluation, and analysis of a variety of reports and records specific to their assignment. This position requires considerable independent judgment in the performance of duties and application of policies and procedures, rules, regulations, and guidelines requiring interpretation. The person in this position needs to independently determine the needs and priorities required to support professional staff and needs to provide input into the Chenango County Operations. This position will also have oversight of clerical and billing responsibilities within Delaware and Otsego Counties.
    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Will perform complicated clerical and office support activities that require substantive knowledge of the programs, rules, or regulations. Such rules, or regulations may be subject to frequent change. They process requests that do not meet normal parameters and may require additional research and consultation with higher level staff. They also perform activities that may require coordination with internal or external parties.
