Office Assistant
The Extended Hours Program provides a comfortable, safe, and interesting environment for elementary age children before school, after school, during non-school days, and summer camp in 19 elementary schools around Grand Junction, Fruita, and Clifton areas. The program is designed to meet the needs of children who will be or have spent a challenging day in school and offers children an opportunity to be with their friends, enrich their day through special activities and classes, work on homework assignments, and to relax. The staff makes every effort to meet individual needs while building a happy, cohesive group. The design of the program recognizes education enrichment as a primary means by which children pursue their own social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth. The program includes activities from many areas including art, math, science, athletics, drama, and literature.
The office assistant will work along with the Executive Director to coordinate and support the staff, children, and families utilizing Extended Hours Program.
