Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Responsibilities:

    • The Mental Health Manager (Sheridan County Manager) is responsible for overseeing programs and professionals for the mental health, substance abuse, and psychosocial rehabilitation programs in Sheridan, WY, assuring community-based services are provided when clinically indicated.
    • Must demonstrate dependability, adaptability, and initiative in work ethic and attitude, adapting to clinical, programmatic, and administrative needs.
    • Responsible for proactive management and administration of behavioral health programs that are aligned with agency goals and objectives.
    • Demonstrates provision of the highest quality services to clients in the Sheridan County offices.
    • Provides part-time direct service to clients through individual and/or group therapy based on the agency's clinical needs.
    • Provides regular clinical supervision focusing on coaching for growth and development of supervisees to build clinical competency skills and overall professional growth goals of the supervisee.
    • Provides regular administrative supervision focusing on performance goals and providing the necessary tools, support, and engagement to manage caseloads and meet agency expectations.
    • Responsible for managing agency performance priorities for supervisees.
    • Utilizes best practices for providing clinical supervision and coaching for performance.
    • Attends to crisis and safety needs of clients as requested by clerical or clinical staff.
    • Assists other clinical staff with crisis or client safety situations using solid clinical judgment and solid risk formulation.
    • Participates in regular quality assurance activities including chart review committee, and ensures follow-through with staff conducting reviews and making corrections.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Master's degree in behavioral health field (i.e. Counseling, Social Work, etc.)
    • Must have 2 years of clinical supervisory experience
    • 5 years experience in the provision of mental health and substance abuse services
    • Licensed in WY or ability to gain licensure in WY as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Proficient in basic computer programs, and willing to learn electronic records systems applications.

    Hours generally are from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
