Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     AHF is seeking a skilled, knowledgeable, and engaging Program Manager to work under the Associate Director of Testing Programs to assist with overseeing, developing, and coordinating program activities for all programs of the AHF Public Health. The Program Manager will also assist the Associate Director and Program manager in administrative duties in operating the sites.

    Ideal candidates are sensitive to issues surrounding HIV and AIDS and are able to communicate openly on sexual topics and health education without prejudice. The candidate will be sensitive to a diversified clientele.

    The Program Manager adds value to the Public Health Division by representing the company to both internal and external clients and vendors. This person will be flexible and adapt to various situations with ease.
