Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.       • Develop efficient strategies and tactics to achieve desired outcomes.
    • Coordinating Cross-Project Activities:
      • Ensure seamless coordination among different projects within the program.
      • Oversee project managers and other staff to maintain alignment with program goals.
    • Leading and Evaluating Project Managers and Staff:
      • Assess performance, provide feedback, and support professional development.
      • Control deadlines, budgets, and activities across projects.
    • Applying Change, Risk, and Resource Management:
      • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
      • Optimize resource utilization.
    • Assuming Responsibility for People:
      • Manage relationships with team members, vendors, and other stakeholders.
      • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
    • Assessing Program Performance and Maximizing ROI:
      • Regularly evaluate program effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
      • Prepare reports for Operations and Company Stack Holders.

    To excel in this role, you should have:

    • Proven experience as a Program Manager or in other managerial positions.
    • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
    • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.
    • Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (e.g., Basecamp, MS Project) is advantageous.
    • Outstanding leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
    • Strong problem-solving ability.
    • A BSc/BA diploma in management or a relevant field; an MSc/MA is a plus.
    • SQL, Python, DAX, VBA all a plus.
