Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Duties include:
- Supervise, support, and mentor residential staff
- Being an effective advocate for staff and individuals served
- Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions with staff, guardians, funding sources, etc.
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication
- Complete and maintain the staff schedule.
- Participate in rotating "on-call" responsibilities
- Oversee staff in all required documentation
- Oversee finances for individuals and group home.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Ensuring group home is ready for licensing and QSR audits
- Ensure individuals receive medical care and behavioral oversite
- Coach and train staff in all areas of group home, individuals, etc.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required to have High school diploma and drivers license. Medication certification a plus.
