Program Manager coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of company programs. Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Program Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Program Manager to provide facilities program management support to our CDC customer located in Morgantown, WV.

    DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for the planning, implementation, management, performance, and supervision of the contract
    • Coordinate maintenance, repair, and operational activities for facilities to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
    • Oversee budget planning, allocation, and execution for facility-related projects and programs.
    • Oversee contracts with external vendors and service providers for facility maintenance, construction, and support services.
    • Other duties as needed.

    REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or similar field.

    REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in facilities management is required.
    • Fifteen (15) years of experience in facilities management can be considered in lieu of a degree.

    REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • Must be able to pass a federal background check.
