Your CPA firm have just put out a lovely employee appreciation post on Linked In.
The same firm that’s expecting you to hit 95 billable hours a week. Again.
There’s a small, fully remote firm, based out of NJ, that probably won’t be posting anything on Linked In on Employee Appreciation Day.
James, the Managing Partner, would rather focus on ensuring his small team have a good work life balance, even during the busier times.
One of the ways he does this is by having zero billable hours.
The firm operate on a Fixed Fee Model and you’ll have your assigned clients (all small Non Profits). You’ll be judged on getting the job done, not on your timesheets. They don’t have any.
You’ll be 100% focussed on Non-Profit Audits. That’s all the firm do.
They’re winning new business regularly. It tends to be the smaller Non-Profits that don’t feel like they get the personal level of service from the Big Regionals.
It’s a small, close-knit team of 10. Everyone works remotely and meet twice a week on Teams.
You’ll get 4 weeks’ PTO and sick time. Healthcare contributions. A 3% 401k match (likely to increase next year) and a 5% profit sharing contribution.
You’ll have a background Auditing smaller Non-Profits, ideally being involved in the full Audit from start to finish.
